Figured to post this here as there is a fair bit of info regarding CMWC on this show.

I think this is the right place for this. Im looking for more info regarding the bungalows at "Dos Americas". From what I understand, bungalow, when referring to places like Panajachel, is a small one room thatched roof kinda place. Which sounds pretty fun. And 80 quetzals a night (thats 9.9894USD) is an awesome price. Im pretty much sold on my own fantasy of what this place is like, but i cant find any info or pictures on the internet. Has anyone seen these bungalows? Can I lock up my stuff safely while Im out? Are they single occupancy? Are there decent bathrooms?

Competitions include Matched Sprints, Miss and Out, and others TBD. Top Messengers from each city will travel to Guatemala for the 18th Annual Cycle Messenger World Championships!!!

Just a reminder, April 15th is not only tax day in the US, but also the last day before CMWC registration goes up to $100.

To help make your decision easier, we are announcing the first of what will hopefully be many CMWC raffles; on April 15th, everyone registered for the CMWC (as a guest or participant) will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a brand new Ultimate OS messenger bag from Pac Bags, valued at $380. Today we finished building the full scale mockup of La Ocho track. So, phase one is complete!!! We even had a race to test the track. We are building the track without a bridge now. Bridges are for Old farts. Lucas, filmed the race today it was so nice to see the kids race and have fun on the track. I now need racers not excuses. Register Now!!!!

We need multi languages?

Easy there. I think I can as there is plenty of plug-ins that apparently work here, but I can not see a single one actually work.

Will there be a pre event?NYC for example ?!

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Will there be an address we can ship a bike to? I'm looking to fly in to Mexico City and then travelling south from there without dragging my bike along with me.

we're not gonna butter it up for you. the streets in pana are not smoothe and silky like they were in phili in 2000. they're more like the cobblestone section on the back side of the course in copenhagen in 2001. i think ill be riding my cross bike. this will give me enough speed on the few fully paved roads, great traction on the pave, and ill be flying over the cobbles.
